Welcome to the first entry to the Football Filter blog section!  Football Filter is an idea created by me (Ben) and Mike, Chelsea and Derby fans respectively.  The idea behind the site was to try and compile the best sources from the internet on football into one place - we were both getting pretty sick of using the same old sites everyday to keep up to date, so the site became a mission to put together the best sources from all the different formats - blogs, tabloids, broadsheets, broadcasts, images,podcasts etc etc.  Some of the sources we have to edit ourselves, such as the video playlists and images, and some are just rss feeds.  We hope that you find it as useful as we do - if you have any suggestions or comments, criticisms or ideas please feel free to contact us - either by leaving a comment on our blog or emailing us at footballfilter@googlemail.com - any kind of feeback is appreciated, we want to make this site as good as possible.

Football Filter for the most part is concentrated on the premiership and English speaking news and blog sources, if you are interested in using our template to create a football based site in a different language/league or any other interest you have feel free to email us and we would be happy to help.
